Abstract: Karhunen-Loève transform (KLT) is the optimal transform that minimizes distortion at a given bit allocationthe ‘reversibility’ is modeled according to distortion analysis in using forward and inverse integer transformIt not only measures how invertible a transform is, but also bounds the distortion introduced by thenon-orthonormal integer transform process. The ‘gain’ means transform coding gain (TCG), which is a widely used criterion for transform design in

The Characteristic of Spectrum and Self-correlation of Some Boolean Fuctions Linearly Equivalent to Specific Cryptographic Functions

Yang Rui,Zeng Bensheng,Li Shiqu

Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 11,   Pages 60-65

Abstract:

The paper made an analysis of the similarities and differences about the cryptographic properties of two Boolean functions in the sense of linearly equivalence, and obtained a sufficient and necessary condition about a Boolean function linearly equivalent to some m order correlation-immune Boolean function. It also obtained a sufficient and necessary condition about a Boolean function linearly equivalent to some Boolean function satisfying the k order propagation criterion. Moreover, it showed an example,in which a given Boolean function, that is not correlation-immuned and does not satisfy the propagation criterion can be constructed into a correlation-immuned Boolean function that can satisfy the propagation criterion and is linearly equivalent to the former one.

Study on online monitoring method for flood discharge structure damage based on Hilbert-Huang Transform

Lian Jijian,Li Chengye,Liu Fang,Ma Bin

Strategic Study of CAE 2011, Volume 13, Issue 12,   Pages 38-44

Abstract:

In the long-term service period, many factors may lead to serious damages and deficiencies to the structure, such as complicated working conditions, inadequate investigation and design, poor management, aging of structure, etc. Therefore, it's very important to study the online monitoring method for flood discharge. According to the special advantages of HHT in instantaneous characteristics analysis and signal processing, an online monitoring method for flood discharge structure damage based on HHT is put forward in this paper. Firstly, after obtaining the HHT energy spectrum of measured responses, the energy distribution vector, defined as ηi , can be calculated. Then, because of the η i differences between undamaged and damaged situations, we determine the structure anomaly indexes and the warning threshold. Finally, having been calculating the anomaly indexes of adjacent time periods, the damage online monitoring can be realized. The results from the numerical simulation test of a guide wall demonstrate that the anomaly indexes mentioned above can accurately identify the structure damage and have anti-noise ability to some degree. However, the further research for estimating the damage location and degree need to be developed in the next period.
